Emily, originaria de West Charlotte, siempre sonríe y busca alegrar el día a la gente, algo que se refleja en sus obras. Le encanta usar colores brillantes y trazos llamativos. Busca que sus piezas resalten y tengan un toque de sus raíces dominicanas a través de diferentes mensajes ocultos que se aprecian en su obra.
Emily ha sido artista desde pequeña, aprendiendo de su abuela, quien la ayudó a pintar y dibujar de niña. Tras graduarse de Appalachian State University en 2020, regresó a West Charlotte y continuó su arte en el McColl Center, donde realizó murales para Blumenthal Performing Arts y el festival Shout, entre muchas otras obras.
Emily, a West Charlotte native, is always smiling and looking to brighten people's days and that can be seen in her artwork. She loves using bright colors and eye-catching strokes in her artwork. She wants her pieces to pop and have a touch of her Dominican roots through different hidden messages than can be seen throughout her work.
Emily has been an artist since a young age, learning from her grandmother who had her paint and draw as a kid. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2020, she came back to West Charlotte she has continued her art the McColl Center and done murals for Blumenthal Performing Arts and the Shout festival along with many other pieces.
