As Charlotte FC walked off the pitch to end their 2024 MLS Playoffs run, there was one thing on Charlotte’s mind.
The squad will be back, and will be better for season 4.
And that’s exactly what they did.
With the season around the corner, the squad wanted a better position for playoffs.
With the acquisition of Premier League legend, Wilfried Zaha, The Crown was ready to make an offensive attack that matched the defensive prowess from the past year.
His first season was a memorable one. His 10 goals and 10 assists were pivotal to the club, including 8 game winning goal contributions that helped the squad turn in the best season to date.
The beginning of the season proved that Charlotte is truly a force to be reckoned with. The squad hit the ground running and was sitting in first in the Eastern Conference, second in the Supporters Shield and 5-0 at home. The energy in The Fortress was unmatched.
This stretch of play was led by the Spaniard midfielder, Pep Biel. His energy and effort was unmatched as The Crown was running the table.
As the season continued to play out, a tough stretch between May and June loomed over the Club. Dropping in rankings, costly mistakes, and questions surrounding the team began to rise.
But with anything, there’s always going to be a high right?

With the squad clinching playoffs and a top 4 seed, The Crown hosted the first home advantage series against NYCFC. As the series went the distance, it presented fans with some memorable moments.
His performance led to The Crown returning to The Fortress for match 3.
Even in defeat, The Crown proved that this season was a success. From historic win streaks, new home wins record, and the highest finish in the Club's history, there was much to be proud of.
And with Season 5 around the corner, The Crown is ready to strike.
